The barber behind the chair

Zack Parker.

Zack started the way a lot of great barbers do — cutting family and friends until the work spoke for itself. He trained at Pittsburgh Barber School, earned his Pennsylvania barber license in 2019, and added his Barber Manager license in 2021.

In September 2025 he opened Ego Cutz Barbershop on Brownsville Road in Carrick — a shop he built for the neighborhood, one chair at a time. Fades, locs, twists, color, designs: the whole craft under one roof.

Before you sit down

Appointments required. Book online through Square — instant confirmation.
Running late? There’s a 10-minute grace period; after that, please reschedule.
Payment. Debit, credit or cash. No Cash App, Venmo or PayPal.
Two or more services? Call the shop first so the right time gets blocked out.
Service times. All services are scheduled in 30-minute increments for booking purposes. Please note actual service times may exceed this window.
Arrival. Kindly arrive 10–15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Punctuality is essential, as late arrivals affect every client who follows.
Late arrivals. Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late will be asked to reschedule and will be charged in full, as a late cancellation.
Cancellations & rescheduling. Any changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full price of the reserved service.
No-show protection. A valid card is required on file to secure your appointment. Failure to attend will result in a full charge for the reserved service.
